It was a moment that many had awaited at Tuscaloosa Academy.

So much so, that many refused to even mention it in passing conversation for fear of jinxing the possibility of it happening on a very special night at TA. It was senior night and many were already excited for the senior students to have their moment in the sun.

But once the senior festivities were done, eyes then turned back to the court where the Knights were set to take on the Rebels of Bessemer Academy.

For those who don't know, I have the distinct honor of being Tuscaloosa Academy's Public Address Announcer. I also have had the pleasure of producing Inside the Locker Room on occasion.

So to say that Barry and I know each other, at least a little bit.

It's always so fascinating to see how he coaches. And believe me, he yells louder than I do on the mic, hard to believe I know. I also have no idea how many times I've heard the words "Seattle or "Corner" but it's probably at least over 50 times.

When the final buzzer sounded, and TA came away victorious 80-38, there was no longer a need to worry about a jinx of any kind. Coach Sanderson had finally reached the mark.

Having joined TA last year, I had no clue Barry was that close to such a feat. But to witness some of the victories, it's no surprise he got it.

Congrats to Coach Barry Sanderson, and here's to the next 100 wins!
