105.1 The Block Hits Fire stations For 9/11

18 years ago today, America changed forever. The terrorist attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center in New York City devastated our nation.

Today, 105.1 the Block & The Big Dawg DreDay hit the streets of Tuscaloosa to show their appreciation for our local firefighters on this day. The looks on their faces were priceless as they received dozens of Krispy Kreme donuts! They were so appreciative and some even invited us back to their stations to hang out some time.

One team even got an emergency call as we handed them a dozen donuts! They were so calm, and collected, DreDay was the one panicking! LOL! We appreciate the hard work and risks they take daily on the job. Check out more footage on our Instagram page below. Be sure to click that follow button!
