The 2024-2025 Leadership Tuscaloosa class has been announced by the Chamber of Commerce West Alabama

The Leadership Tuscaloosa Program is an issues-based program designed to inform, motivate, and increase awareness of topics important to West Alabama. It utilizes field trips and interaction with community decision-makers to broaden understanding of many community issues.

Alyson Baxter, Assistant Vice President F&O Shared Administrative Services at The University of Alabama and a graduate of the 2021-2022 LT class, will serve as this year’s chair.

"I could not be more excited and grateful to chair this year's Leadership Tuscaloosa class. What an amazing line up of professionals who are about to embark on a 9-month journey gaining an intimate knowledge of our community," said Baxter.

 

 

Baxter continued, "We had an overwhelming number of applicants this year, which makes me beyond confident in the talent we possess in West Alabama."

A total of 45 professionals were selected to be apart of this prestigious opportunity from law enforcement, to healthcare, education and more.
