These are just some of the stars who were born in Alabama. analyzed IMDb data to identify the U.S. locations with the most film credits. They categorized the top locations by state, type, and genre to rank the most filmed locations in each category.

The top film location in the United States ended up being Griffith Park in Los Angeles, California with close to 400 credits.

Thinking about a location in Alabama that has been filmed a lot, I naturally want to say Orange Beach. Mostly because I didn't know how beautiful Alabama beaches were until I moved here.

When it came to the state of Alabama, the most filmed location only makes sense.

According to, it's the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.
