This week's edition of the College Football Playoff poll comes as great news to the Cincinnati Bearcats as the undefeated squad from the American conference was moved into the No. 4 spot.

The prime time matchup this week comes in the form of a Big 10 rivalry game. Ohio State, fresh off its 56-7 drubbing of the Michigan State Spartans, moved into the No. 2 spot and will hit the road for its final game of the regular season. The Buckeyes head to "The Big House" to take on the No. 5 Michigan Wolverines with a spot in the Big 10 Championship game on the line.

Looming large right outside the top four spots is perennial playoff contender Notre Dame. The Irish moved up two spots to No. 6 after beating Georgia Tech 55-0 and will now close its season with a road trip to Stanford.

As college football wraps up its season there is still time for chaos to ensue however five of the last six champions were ranked in the top two in the third to last rankings. With Alabama falling out of the top two, does this mean the odds are against the Crimson Tide?
