The Alabama Crimson Tide officially introduced three new assistant coaches to its football coaching staff on Wednesday. The Tide announced Coleman Hutzler will coach  special teams and outside linebackers, Travaris Robinson will coach cornerbacks and Eric Wolford will be the new offensive line coach.

"We are pleased and happy to be able to add Coleman Hutzler, Travaris Robinson and Eric Wolford to our coaching staff,” Saban said. “They are all talented coaches who are well respected across the country for their knowledge of the game, ability to recruit and aptitude for teaching and developing young men both on the field and in life.”

The three coaches replace Drew Svoboda, Jay Valai and Doug Marrone from last year's staff.

Hutzler spent the 2021 season with Ole Miss leading their special teams unit to second in the SEC in punt returns and third in punt return defense as well as fifth in field goal percentage. He will be charged with keeping Will Reichard consistent and helping James Burnip become more effective as a punter as well as coaching Will Anderson and Dallas Turner.

Robinson joins the Alabama staff after coaching at the University of Miami. He'll be in charge of preparing Kool Aid-McKinstry and Eli Ricks at the cornerback positions next year.

Wolford comes to Tuscaloosa by way of the University of Kentucky. The Wildcats were finalists for the Joe Moore Award last season, averaging 5.23 yards per rush. Wolford has a tall task of replacing Evan Neal on the left side and ensuring that the Alabama offensive line returns to form in 2022.

Interestingly enough all three coaches spent time on the South Carolina staff under former Nick Saban assistant Will Muschamp.
