The Alabama Crimson Tide has landed the commitment of 3-star offensive lineman Dayne Shor. Shor is considered the No 38 tackle in the nation in his class and the No. 36 prospect out of the state of Georgia according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the 14th member of the 2022 Alabama recruiting class and joins Tyler Booker as the second offensive lineman in the class.

The 6-foot-6, 295 pound tackle out of Alpharetta, GA., was primarily recruited by wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins and offensive line coach Doug Marrone. His addition to the Alabama class leaves the Tide with the No. 3 ranked recruiting class and the No. 1 class in the SEC.

Shor played with his fellow offensive linemen Tyler Booker at IMG Academy in 2020.

Shor chose Alabama over Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M, Tennessee and many others. He took an official visit at the end of June when the NCAA allowed the resumption of in-person recruiting. He also took a self-guided tour of the campus on his own.

His commitment becomes the third prospect to join the Crimson Tide class this week joining Shawn Murphy and Kobe Prentice.
