We loved this entry because Halie and Emil, a newly-married couple, entered each other independently for the contest! Here are our favorite lines:

"My wife Halie is my valentine and she really deserves this she's a speech therapist who works with kids many of which have autism or are very low functioning kids who wouldn't be able to communicate without the work she does. On top of working 10 hour days doing that she helps take care of me in my battle with sickle cell anemia which causes me to be in and out of the hospital at times. We have very different work schedules and have not been able to go out as much due to me having such a high-risk level with COVID going on. She's a great person and an even better wife and this would really lift her spirits right now."

"Hi my name is Halie Savage....well McGraw now! I recently just married my handsome fiancé and he is now my sweet husband. I wanted us to do something special this Vday. He has sickle cell and has been having a rough couple of months. I love him because of his resiliency and his faith and love for me despite very difficult times and trips to the hospital and cancer center for infusions and transfusions! He is a fighter and I want to make sure he is appreciated! ❤️"
