Anderson’s Grandparents Recovering

Incoming freshman defensive end Will Anderson's mother revealed last month that both her parents were hospitalized with the COVID-19 coronavirus. Today Anderson's mother revealed through Twitter that her parents were both recovering well. Anderson's grandfather had his ventilator removed and his grandmother tested negative with clear lungs.

The Andersons are from Hampton, Georgia in Henry County. Henry County has had the seventh most cases of COVID-19 in Georgia with 321. The county has had five deaths attributed to the respiratory disease. Henry County boarders, Dekalb and Clayton Counties which rank third and sixth in the state for COVID-19 cases.
