Beloved Tuscaloosa Broadcaster Ed Ramsey Has Passed Away
Longtime Tuscaloosa broadcaster and legend Ed Ramsey passed away Thanksgiving morning in his sleep.
"Ed died in his sleep yesterday morning," said Townsquare Media's Steve Shannon.
Steve Shannon spent time with Ramsey during their time together in radio at Townsquare Media.
"I enjoyed working with Ed. And what a voice!"
Many took to Facebook after hearing the news about Ramsey's passing.
Lenora Ramsey-Houston, identified at Ed Ramsey's aunt, shared her thoughts after hearing about Ed Ramsey's passing.
Ed Ramsey served as a Production Director at Townsquare Media and also hosted the quiet storm for 92.9 WTUG.
Ramsey most recently held a position in Birmingham at WJLD.
