BREAKING: Manhunt Underway After Northport Bank Robbery

A manhunt is underway after a man allegedly robbed the Alabama One Credit Union off of McFarland Boulevard in Northport.

According to Keith Carpenter, Assistant Chief of the Northport Police Department, the robbery occurred at 2:49 p.m. on Monday and the suspect left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police are searching for a white male wearing a black cap with a light bill, a red shirt, black jacket and blue jeans.

Northport Police are working the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office and federal law enforcement officers may assist if necessary.
