The City of Tuscaloosa is the focus of a new feature film scheduled to be released nationwide on March 13th.

Titled Tuscaloosa, the movie is based on the novel of the same name by author W. Glasgow Phillips. Tuscaloosa features Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer in addition to Tate Donvan, Devon Bostick, and Marchant Davis.

Tuscaloosa is set in 1972 and tells the story of a young man named Billy who falls in love with a patient at the mental institution his father operates. The film also navigates the social and racial injustices that plagued Alabama at the time.

Check out the trailer above to see how many local landmarks you can spot. I was able to see the Bama Theater, the Quad, and the mental institution featured in the film which appears to be Old Bryce. For more information, check out the film's official website here.
