Free Community Boutique Set for July 18

Families and individuals in need of clothing or household essentials will have an opportunity to shop at no cost during a free community boutique opening in Tuscaloosa.

The Mary Jane Van Hoose Home Mission Society of Hunter Chapel AME Zion Church will host its Free Gently Used Clothing and Household Boutique on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church, located at 1105 22nd Avenue in Tuscaloosa.

The event is open to the public and will offer a variety of gently used items while supplies last. Available items include men's, women's, children's and baby clothing, shoes, household items and more.

Organizers say the boutique is designed to serve individuals and families who may be clothing a growing family, starting over or simply needing a helping hand. The goal is to provide quality items in a welcoming environment where people can shop with dignity at no cost.
