Divinely United Event Raises Hope, Cancer Awareness in Uniontown

The Starks Entertainment organization is excited to announce an upcoming event that is free and open to the public in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“The Divinely United: Fighting for a Cure” event will be on Saturday, October 7 in Uniontown, Alabama. It is a partnership with non-profit organizations that are dedicated to raising cancer awareness. This collaborative effort aims to support breast cancer research in Alabama through a fundraising event.

Organizers are hoping this event will raise $10,000 with proceeds being donated to the Breast Cancer Research of Alabama organization.

Divinely United: Fighting for a Cure Event Details

October 7, 2023, from Noon to 6:00 p.m.

The event will be held at the Starks Entertainment Complex located at 218 Gray Street, Uniontown, Alabama, 36786

Event Activities

Come out and join in the activities and play games!

There will be a step show, guest speaker Dr. Andreia White, board-certified family medicine doctor, and karaoke (So You Think You Can Sing?) Also, there will be a luminary tribute for those currently with cancer as well as those who have transitioned because of cancer.

Owner of Starks Entertainment, Stacey Turner said “This event is to raise awareness and support not only breast cancer but all cancers.” She shared that her mom passed away from this terrible disease and that she is also a survivor.
