Drawing Classes For Tweens & Teens Done Virtually
Being creative is a wonderful escape for me. I love to oil paint and I am currently setting up my art room which seems like it is taking me forever to get done. When I take my vacation in a few weeks, I plan on painting each and every day. I also hope to dabble in some new art forms like watercolors and pencil drawing.
If you have a tween or teen that has expressed interest in the arts, I encourage you to support that process because it is a great way to connect with your emotions and creative side of who you are as a person. When I worked in Birmingham Radio, I lived in Pelham, Alabama for ten years and four years in Helena, Alabama. I am familiar with the great work of the Pelham Public Library. I ran across a great experience on Facebook presented by the Pelham Public Library for a “Virtual Drawing Class for Teens & Tweens, which Local artist Bo Hughins teaches a stand-alone drawing class for ages 10-18. This program will be available for Zoom. You must register to get the Zoom password. To register, please call 205-620-6467.” The next class is Tuesday July 14, 2020 at 6 pm. This could be a great opportunity to expose your children to a great form of art. Call or register via zoom link.
