We're all set to begin the 2021-2022 academic school year and this church is kicking it off with a party. Join Calvary Tuscaloosa for their upcoming event.

Wednesday, August 25th from 5-7:30p, Calvary Tuscaloosa will host their Fall Kick-Off event. This completely free event will feature face painting, free snow cones, music, food trucks, blow-ups, and more. The best part is that this event is completely free. It will cost you nothing to come out, enjoy your friends and family, good food, and maybe even meet some new friends. According to the details section on the Facebook event page, Calvary Tuscaloosa's college ministry weekly worship will immediately follow this event.

"In the North Parking Lot from 5-7:30 PM ALL are welcome for food trucks, blow-ups, face painting, free snow cones, live music and time to hang out with friends and family! Then we will transition to The Well, our college ministry's weekly worship service from 810 PM. We are excited for fellowship and worship on this Wednesday to start the school year off right."

When I first got to college down in Florida, I remember being introduced to what would become my home church. They held a similar event and I just loved the energy that surrounded the members of the church. I ended up meeting so many long-term friends and people I still talk to years later.

With so many people coming from all over an event like this is a great way for college students new to the area hoping to meet new people and grab some new friends.
