WAWC Healthcare Hosting Childbirth Class Saturday
Families preparing to welcome a new baby will have an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and hands-on guidance this weekend at WAWC Healthcare.
The organization is hosting a Childbirth Education Class on Saturday, June 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its office located at 3073 Palisades Court in Tuscaloosa.

The class is designed to help expectant parents feel more confident, informed, and prepared as they approach labor, delivery, and the early days of parenthood. Organizers say participants will learn about the stages of labor, comfort measures and breathing techniques, partner support during childbirth, creating a birth plan, and newborn care basics.
WAWC Healthcare is encouraging not only expecting mothers but also partners and support persons to attend, emphasizing the important role a strong support system plays throughout the birth experience.
The goal of the class is to empower families with practical information and tools that can help reduce anxiety and increase confidence before delivery day arrives.
With the class taking place Saturday, organizers encourage interested families to register as soon as possible and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from experienced birth professionals.
For many parents, preparation can make all the difference and this class aims to ensure families feel ready for one of life's biggest moments.
