A Perfect Family Day at the Tuscaloosa Barnyard
Sometimes you just need to be reming of some of the great things Tuscaloosa has to offer. I was recently reminded thanks to a field trip with my daughter to a local Tuscaloosa attraction.
Tall slides, cow rides, duck races, and so many live animals to pet, feed and enjoy! This is how I'd describe my time at the Tuscaloosa Barnyard with my daughter.
An early morning begin with the staff greeting us at the entrance and checking everyone in. The process was smooth and before you knew it we were off to see some animals.
Feeding baby goats, holding HUGE roosters, and petting bunnies and newborn chickens. The experience was one I'd never forget. It really mad me realize how the little things are so important for children. I also felt thankful for places like the Tuscaloosa Barnyard.
After all of the petting and seeing different animals on the farm ,we took a ride up the hill to a huge play area for the children. I really have to say, there was a lot for the kids to do and they really enjoyed every moment.

Shoutout to the Tuscaloosa Barnyard for being a place for children to gain experiences like this. They even had a mini pumpkin patch where you could pick a pumpkin before heading to your vehicle.
The only flaw in the day was that my 5 year old son didn't get to come with us that day. Needless to say, we'll be back with both kids for another great time at the Tuscaloosa Barnyard.
