Flood Warning Issued For Lower Warrior River

The NWS has issued a flood warning for The Black Warrior River at the Selden Lock and Dam affecting Greene, Hale and Marengo Counties. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are forecast for many areas across Central Alabama over the next 48 hours. Rises are expected on many rivers basins, including the Black Warrior River. Rises are expected to be above flood stage, and a flood warning is now in effect.
