Eutaw residents can expect to receive some great information during an upcoming resource day this October.

The West Alabama Cardiac Health Program operating from a CDC Grant to help improve the state's poor heart health is sponsoring this Resource Day which is happening October 18th, 2024 beginning at 9a.

"Greene County community has some of the poorest heart health of the state but isn't reaching better health," said Tiffany Y. Gray, B.S. who is the Project Coordinator for this event.

"We linked with some community partners, residents, and strong community voices together in a meeting to help us better understand the community, it's needs, and possible issues that keeping them from better heart health."

The Greene County Resource Day will take place at Branch Heights Community Center
429W M Branch Heights Dr., Eutaw, AL.

"It was realized the community of Greene county needed to know there are resources to help in many situations," Gray said.

"The education that there are a lot of the places they see and know of, but really may not know exactly what these resources do, and how they work with other community partners to assist they, the customer, needs."

The Greene County Resource Day will feature resources based around maternity, dental, mental health, community, action, voter registration, health & nutrition, and more!

They are for them and their community's betterment. An individual help that will allow their families to be better, and their needs met so they can get to the focus of their health and wellness.
