Get Involved: Tuscaloosa SCLC’s Voter Registration Event
The Tuscaloosa Southern Christian Leadership Conference will host a Voter Registration & Education Rally on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, at McDonald Hughes Community Center, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.
The event will feature information on absentee ballots, voter registration deadlines, essential voting procedures, rules and more.
Local Officials and the Tuscaloosa County Board of Registrars will be available for a Q&A and there will be a panel discussion on "Give us the Ballot" Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Community resources on site will include the Maude Whatley Mobile Unit along with other community and service groups. The Tuscaloosa SCLC is offering 10 free vendor/exhibitor opportunities to share company stationery, promotional items, and program information to those in attendance.
