Almost A Year Into My Loc Journey & I Need An Alabama Hair Stylist

Never in a million years would I have thought I would be a person with locs in my hair. For years I've had the low cut, waves spinning and then quarantine happened.

Like many of us, quarantine caused me to make so many changes in my life. I couldn't go to the barbershop to get my usual bi-weekly haircut. After a few months, I had the idea of putting locs in my head. My wife, who is on her second set of locs, thought I was joking. She used to be a hairstylist so I had her do it and it's been almost a year since that night.

Since moving to Alabama, we haven't been able to connect with people who do locs. I refuse to believe there are no good stylists in the city that can do great locs.

I want you to let me know who you would refer. What stylist has great customer service? Who knows the right products to use that won't cause unnecessary build-up and of course does good work? I know what you're thinking, "Why not have your wife do it? She does good!" I'm with you but I want her to have a break lol.

I don't trust just anyone with my hair, so I need some good recommendations. Help me out! Shoot me a message inside the app using the chat feature. I'll be sure to let them know you sent me.
