As of 2:15, both lanes of Highway 43 are closed at the scene of the accident, near mile marker 212, which King said was a little north of the highway bridge that crosses Lake Tuscaloosa in the area near John Swindle Road in Samantha.

King said Troopers do not know how long the blockage will last.
