Hip Hop/R&B Songs That DJ's Should Never Stop Too Early

I've been a professional DJ for a little over four years and I've learned a lot in that time. I've mastered the art of reading a crowd, crowd control on the mic, and mixing techniques while spinning. There is one thing I've learned that could ruin any event. Stopping a song too early!

There's nothing worse than being at an event and you're having a great time! The vibe is hitting, people are dancing and everything is just perfect. The DJ is killing it and all of a sudden one of your favorite songs comes on. You're waiting for the one part that everyone loves and you're ready to sing it at the top of your lungs with the squad. Right before the part hits, the DJ switches songs!!!

It wouldn't be enough to just get another DJ, you're almost ready to fight the current DJ. Lol! Everything was so perfect and they ruined the moment. Early on in my career, I was almost that DJ. I was feeling myself and wanted to switch songs too fast but luckily came to my senses before I switched. I've created a shortlist of songs that any DJ who's playing Hip Hop or R&B should NEVER stop too early.

6 Hip Hop/R&B Songs DJ's Should Never Stop Too Early

Some of these songs should be common sense if you're a fan of the culture, but if not, I hope this helps. There's nothing worse than being a DJ and killing the vibe at the function. If I left any songs out, please feel free to send me your suggestions on Facebook @BigDawgDreDay.
