Tuscaloosa just got a new spot that blends competition, connection, and cool vibes, and it’s not your typical golf experience.

The Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation Authority (PARA) has officially opened Iron & Ember Golf at the Jerry Pate Center at Ol’ Colony, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the city’s most unique entertainment destinations. Iron & Ember is an indoor golf simulator space built for more than just tee times. It’s designed for unwinding after work, sharpening your swing, hosting meetings, or bringing people together for memorable group experiences rain or shine.

To celebrate the opening, Iron & Ember is rolling out a limited-time Holiday Event Rental Special perfect for companies, organizations, and groups looking to do something different this season. Now through January 5, groups can rent the entire facility for $400, a $100 discount from the regular price.

A private rental includes access to all four state-of-the-art simulator bays for two hours, a private meeting room for presentations or catering, exclusive use of the entire space, and room for up to 50 guests. It’s an ideal setup for holiday parties, client appreciation events, team outings, or organizational gatherings.

Food and beverages aren’t included in the rental price, but guests can order from a golf-themed food and drink menu, with catering options available through Jalapeños Little Kitchen at Iron & Ember.

Not planning a full event? Iron & Ember is also open to the public, offering hourly bay rentals for casual outings and small groups. For those looking to level up their practice time, annual passholder memberships are available.

Iron & Ember Golf is located at 401 Old Colony Road in Tuscaloosa. You can learn more, book an event, or explore memberships at ironandembergolf.com. Tuscaloosa golfers and non-golfers alike now have a new reason to pull up and enjoy.
