
Alabama Ranked Lowest in Preseason Poll Since 2008
The preseason coaches' poll has been released ahead of the first week of the college football season, and the Crimson Tide comes in at its lowest ranking since the start of the 2008 season, which was Nick Saban's second season at Alabama.

Here is the full preseason top 25 from coaches across the country:

Other teams receiving votes included:
Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisville, USC, Utah, Baylor, Auburn, Iowa, Memphis, Army, Tulane, Georgia Tech, TCU, Nebraska, Syracuse, Washington, Navy, Arkansas, Duke, Colorado, Minnesota, UNLV, Florida State, Kansas, Vanderbilt, Buffalo.
Alabama sits at the lowest ranking since the preseason poll in 2008, which had the Crimson Tide unranked, but receiving the most votes of the unranked teams with 83 points. Fresno State was No. 25 with 91 points.
The AP Poll will be released on August 11, where media members will rank the top 25 teams in the nation. The AP poll is used as the "official" rankings until the College Football Playoff Rankings begin in early November.
