Alabama Learns ACC/SEC Opponent

The annual ACC/SEC Challenge between the two conferences has had the matchups revealed, and we're set to see some high-level and entertaining basketball.

According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Alabama will travel to Chapel Hill to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels in the annual ACC/SEC challenge.

The Crimson Tide played the Tar Heels in the Sweet 16 of the 2024 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The Crimson Tide won the game 89-87 thanks to a big performance by Alabama's big man, Grant Nelson. Nelson had 24 points and 12 rebounds in the Crypto.com arena, home of the Los Angeles Lakers, to send Alabama to the second Elite Eight in program history.

Other notable matchups include Auburn at Duke, Arkansas at Miami, Kentucky at Clemson, and Syracuse at Tennessee.

Alabama is 6-7 all-time against North Carolina. The Crimson Tide is on a two-game winning streak against the Tar Heels, including a four-overtime victory in Portland, Oregon during the 2022-2023 season.
