Tragedy struck Tuscaloosa on Sunday as Jamea Jonae Harris was shot and killed after an argument transpired on The Strip. The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit arrested two suspects in connection to the tragedy, Michael Lynn Davis of Charles County, Maryland and Darius Miles, a now-former Alabama basketball player.

Alabama head basketball coach Nate Oats met with the media on Monday and disclosed the team met most of the evening on Sunday and that the remaining members of the team will be making the trip to Nashville for the game on Tuesday.

The Crimson Tide is in the midst of a historic season on the court, Alabama is ranked No. 4 in the current AP Poll but a tragedy resulting in death overshadows the success the program has had.
