Four Alabama Linemen Named to Lombardi Award Watch List
On Tuesday, four Crimson Tide players were named to the Lombardi Award Watch List, including two of the Crimson Tide's returning starters along the offensive line.

Left tackle Kadyn Proctor, center Parker Brailsford, defensive tackle Tim Keenan III, and linebacker Deontae Lawson were among the 54 players announced to the Lombardi Award Watch List on Tuesday morning.
The award is not only about play on the field, although that plays a key role in the selection process. In addition to outstanding performance and ability, the winner best exemplifies the character and discipline of NFL Hall of Famer Vince Lombardi.
Parker Brailsford, a redshirt junior from Mesa, Arizona, started all 13 games at center for Alabama last season, earning second-team All-American honors from the Football Writers' Association of America (FWAA). Brailsford did not allow a sack in 777 pass blocking reps last season, and was responsible for 63 knockdown blocks.
Tim Keenan III, a redshirt senior from Birmingham, Alabama, started 12 games and appeared in 13 for the Crimson Tide a season ago, recording 40 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. He also had two quarterback pressures and one pass breakup to go along with his sixth-highest run defense grade from PFF (90.1) among all interior defenders last season.
Deontae Lawson, a redshirt senior from Mobile, Alabama, was a permanent team captain for the Crimson Tide last season, returning for his final year of eligibility after suffering a season-ending injury in Alabama's 24-3 loss to the Oklahoma Sooners last season. In his 11 starts for 2024, Lawson recorded 76 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks while adding four pass breakups, one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
Kadyn Proctor, a junior from Des Moines, Iowa, is returning for his third season as a starter for the Crimson Tide, having started 11 games last season. Although he was banged up for Alabama, he still earned second-team All-SEC honors, registering 54 knockdowns last season.
Alabama has produced three Lombardi Award winners in program history, with Cornelius Bennett taking home the program's first in 1986, Jonathan Allen winning it in 2016, and Will Anderson being the most recent winner in 2022.
