Bronze, Silver, and now Gold!
Stillman College has been named one of five NAIA Champions of Character five-star Gold Award 2023-2024 according to a press release from the school. It is Stillman College's fourth Champions of Character Five-Star recognition in the last five years and its first Gold Award.
The Gold Award is presented to institutions that score between 90-100 on their Champions of Character scorecard.
Stillman College will compete in the HBCU Athletic Conference beginning in 2024-2025. Other members of the HBCU Athletics Conference that received Five-Star honors for the 2023-2024 calendar include Southern University at New Orleans, Tougaloo College, Dilliard University, Voorhees University, Philander Smith University, and University of the Virgin Islands.
The Gold Award is awarded to schools based on conduct in competition, minimum ejections, and exceptional student-athlete grade point averages.
