College Gameday Announces Guest Picker for Alabama-Vanderbilt

ESPN's College Gameday announced on Thursday evening that comedian Theo Von will be the guest picker for this Saturday's show, as Alabama is hosting the college football preview show for No. 10 Alabama hosting No. 16 Vanderbilt this Saturday.

Von has increased his presence across college football and was on the sideline for Vanderbilt's historic upset of the Crimson Tide last year, 40-35 in Nashville, Tennessee.

It's the second time Von will be the College Gameday guest picker, as he also did the 2023 SEC Championship game between Alabama and Georgia.

He was on set when Pat McAfee led Georgia fans into believing that he would choose the Bulldogs, before yelling, "Give me Alabama." The crowd roared, and Von was star-struck seeing the reaction of the crowd after the pick.

Von chose the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship.

College Gameday will begin at 8:00 a.m. CT on Saturday, October 4, live in front of Denny Chimes on the quad.
