Three Alabama football players landed on the AP Preseason All-America Team.

Kool-Aid McKinstry made the First-Team Defense, JC Latham made the Second-Team Offense, and Dallas Turner made Second-Team defense.

McKinstry is entering his third season with the Crimson Tide. Last year, he had a breakout season, recording 35 total tackles (29 solo, six assisted), two tackles for loss for 16 yards, one sack for 12 yards, 16 passes defended, and one interception.

Latham is expected to be a major asset to the Alabama offensive line after becoming a  starter last season.

According to RollTide.com, "[Latham] had 29 knockdown blocks on the year, an imposing physical presence who blocked for the nation's No. 4 scoring offense (41.1 ppg), No. 11 total offense (477.1 ypg), No. 19 passing offense (281.6 ypg) and the No. 36 rushing attack (195.5 ypg)."

Turner has played two seasons at the Capstone, recording 67 total tackles (30 solo, 37 assisted), 18 tackles for loss for 87 yards, 12.5 sacks for 70 yards, and two fumble recoveries.
