On Tuesday night, the University of Alabama released a statement about the storm's impact on Saturday night's primetime matchup against Georgia.

"Alabama Athletics is closely monitoring the weather forecast ahead of Saturday's football game vs. Georgia. At this time, there are no plans to alter the contest," Alabama Athletics said in a statement. "We will continue to observe the conditions throughout the week and remain in communication with the Southeastern Conference office, as needed. Fans are encouraged to rely on official Alabama Athletics and SEC channels for the latest information regarding Saturday's game."

On Wednesday morning, WBRC Chief Meteorologist Wes Wyatt shared the latest guidance regarding Isaias, with the radar showing that the storm could potentially be out of the way prior to kickoff. If the model is correct, then most of the severe weather should be out of Tuscaloosa by roughly 5:00 p.m., which would clear the way for Alabama and Georgia to kick off at 6:45 p.m.

The National Weather Service will hold a special webinar at 10:30 to discuss Tropical Storm Isaias. The webinar will include the latest information from the 10 AM advisory from the National Hurricane Center.

As of 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Isaias has maximum sustained winds of 35 knots (40 MPH), a minimum central pressure of 1004 mb, and is moving east-northeast at 8 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.

No. 6 Alabama will host No. 2 Georgia on Saturday, October 10, inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. CT on ABC.
