
Ty Simpson Leads the SEC in Passing Yards
Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson leads the Southeastern Conference in passing yards. In the Oct. 4 game against the Vanderbilt Commodores, his 340 yards elevated him to the No. 1 passer in the SEC.

Each week of college football, Simpson has built his resume and progressed as a passer and playmaker. Simpson's ability to distribute the ball to multiple offensive weapons has been remarkable.
Through five games, Simpson has recored 200 or more yards in each game, with two of those games reaching the 300-plus-yard mark.
In Week 3, Simpson ranked as the fifth-ranked passer in the SEC with 862 yards, behind John Mateer of Oklahoma (944), Joey Aguilar of Tennessee (906), Marcel Reed of Texas A&M (869), and Taylen Green of Arkansas (866).
Simpson has now claimed the No. 1 spot in the SEC with 1,478 yards and ranks No. 16 among all conferences.
