Threats Put Alabama Campus on High Alert This Week
Student safety was a top concern for this Alabama university earlier this week as they received threats of potential harm to students and more.
The school's library was said to be the target of a mass shooting and bomb threat at the University of Alabama A&M on Tuesday Sept. 30th.

According to a statement released by the school's president, they received an anti-Semitic and racist email with language consistent with recent emergency incidents tied to Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
"These targeted acts represent a deeply rooted effort to disrupt and undermine the safety and well-being of our students, educators and fellow HBCU institutions," the statement read.
"As always, know that Alabama A&M will continue to make the safety of those who study, live, and work on campus a top priority. Threats like this reinforce our mission and serve as motivation to all Normalites to hold high the vision of our Founder."
The school also announced counseling services were available to those who needed it with the school's Student Affairs office.
