ROLL TIDE!

I just needed to get that out from the start.

Nothing beats watching a young person from our area attain national attention for doing what they love.

MEET MYLES MORGAN

As our good friend Rick Karle calls him, the Jesus-loving Alabama boy is releasing a highly-anticipated new single Friday.

Morgan is working with heavyweights in Nashville, including some of the same musicians and producers that work with another country artist with the name "Morgan".

That is BIG stuff in the music business.

Myles Morgan thought sports might be his main passion after a good athletic career in his younger years. Music took over and that was the start of something special.

Myles has already seen success with his first two singles released in the last year.

Spotify shows well over 750,000 streams of "Nobody's Fault But Yours" and "Jon Boat Or A Yacht".

Morgan is a sophomore at the University of Alabama.

His dad bought him a guitar just a few years ago, and that is proving to be a wise move.

Fans of Morgan are trying to get local folks to go "save" his new song on Spotify before Friday.

The new single is called "Is This Seat Taken?".

Myles says he wrote it about a life-changing experience at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

Morgan will also make a guest appearance on top-rated Tuscaloosa country station, 95.3 The Bear, Friday morning to debut the new single.
