Mayor Joe Barger has gone out of his way to open the doors to all families in the area.

Number one, Brookwood is hosting a toy drive for needy families in West Alabama.

Drop off any new unwrapped toys at the Brookwood Municipal Building at 10648 Highway 216 in Brookwood.

The Christmas tree lighting is happening tomorrow at 6:30 pm. A chili dinner will also be served as an annual part of the Brookwood celebration.

THE BIG EVENT

 

Brookwood will host its 34th annual Christmas parade on December 5th at 7:00 pm.

Of course, Santa will be making an appearance that evening.

Santa will be at the Brookwood Ballpark right after the parade.

Trophies will be awarded to those who put together the best floats and vehicles, and the awards will be given at the ballpark after the Christmas parade.

Free gourmet Hot Chocolate and Christmas cookies will also be available.
