
Dense Fog Advisory Issued for West Alabama: Concerns of Low Visibility
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “Dense Fog Advisory.” This is in effect until Thursday, May 8, at 8 a.m.
There are concerns that low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous this morning.
It is suggested that if driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.

All counties under the advisory: Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston Counties.
