Druid City Scavenger Hunt Spooky Edition Returns to Tuscaloosa
Get ready for a spooky night of adventure with United Way of West Alabama’s Young Leaders Society (YLS). A community favorite, the Druid City Scavenger Hunt—Spooky Edition returns on Tuesday, October 21.
Teams will explore Downtown Tuscaloosa’s most legendary “haunts,” piecing together hidden clues to create the ultimate potion and lift the town’s eerie curse.

The Druid City Scavenger Hunt—Spooky Edition kicks off at 5 p.m. at Government Plaza, and the mystery unfolds as teams gather to kick off the hunt. Armed with their first clue, participants will put their wits to the test, decoding word puzzles, unraveling riddles, and uncovering secrets along the journey.
According to the press release, “The first team to uncover the final destination will claim the grand prize—but the fun doesn’t stop there. All participants are invited to enjoy food, fellowship, and spooky surprises on the patio of this secret location.”
“This event is part scavenger hunt, part Halloween party, and all fun,” said David Rodgers, YLS Scavenger Hunt Chair. “It’s a great way to explore downtown Tuscaloosa, test your problem-solving skills, and make memories with your team. Don’t wait—grab your friends, co-workers, or family and sign up today.”
Space is limited, so early sign-up is encouraged. Tickets are on sale at https://givebutter.com/spookyscavengerhunt.
