However, it needs to be said.

I just got back from spending a week for Spring Break in the "Tobacco Road" region of our great country.

Of course, I had my Alabama Crimson Tide gear on everywhere I went while on the road.

One of my first stops was a pizza place (great pizza btw) and I was immediately met with anti-Tide comments from the workers and patrons.

"You guys don't belong here" and "This is NOT how it's supposed to be".

Well, cry me a flippin' river.

Sorry that the Tide busted your bracket.

In the words of the legendary band "The Eagles", GET OVER IT!

I admit, I'm in shock that we have played this well and are FINALLY in the Final Four.

I did not expect it. I expected it LAST SEASON when we got bounced out by San Diego State.

Brandon Miller, Jahvon Quinerly, and Charles Bediako departed for the NBA and I thought our chance was lost.

I had a faith problem this season.

That all changed with the win over Grand Canyon (30-5) which was a much better team than most folks realized.

AND THEN....

UNC.

The beloved basketball blue-blood North Carolina Tarheels.

They have the best player in college basketball in RJ Davis.

Alabama  89

UNC        87

Grant Nelson became THE man that night.

I saw things with this team that I have never seen in all my years as an Alabama fan.

Yet, while I was away, this triggered the most anti-Tide jibberish directed at us Tide fans.

Now the national "talking heads" are lusting for a UCONN/PURDUE title game.

Blah, blah, blah.

Who cares what they all think????

Handle our business against the University of Connecticut, and we WILL bring that championship trophy to Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Roll Tide.
