Instructed by Molly Nelko

Age Range:  18+

Dates:

Thursday May 15, 6-8pm OR Thursday November 13, 6-8pm

Times: 6-8pm

Location: Kentuck's Studio 2

Tuition: $60 all supplies included

This is an evening event for adults only. We will spend two hours getting serene and focused to learn about and combine two art techniques. In this meditative class we will be using high quality materials to make our own "Zentangle" by using a form of tessellation. Tessellations are the mathematical art of repeating patterns, made famous by the artist MC Escher. This class is a great opportunity to try something new and to get into the flow of completely original art.

Instructed by Amy Smoot

Age Range:  18+

Dates: November 4, 11, 18, & 25

Times: 3-5pm

Location: Kentuck's Clay Studio

Tuition: $200; All supplies included

Join Amy Smoot in this 4-week ceramics class focused on hand-building!

Pottery doesn't have to be thrown on the potter's wheel in order to be beautiful and unique. Hand building allows students to make at their own pace (and it's cleaner too!) Each week students will be shown a hand-building technique that they can apply to the pieces they make. We will focus on pinching, coil building, slab building, and glazing, as well as all the in-between techniques like carving, stamping, and decorating.

This workshop will be held on Tuesdays in May 2025:

November 4th; 3-5pm (Pinching)

November 11th; 3-5pm (Coil Building)

November 18th; 3-5pm (Slab Building)

November 25th; 3-5pm (Glazing)
