"We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out and supported this year's Live at the Plaza summer concert series," the City of Tuscaloosa posted to Facebook Friday evening as they announced the cancelation.

Live at The Plaza for July 11th was canceled due to the threat of inclement weather in the area according to the City of Tuscaloosa.

"Unfortunately, due to the inclement weather that will continue throughout the evening, we have made the tough decision to cancel the final event of the season in the interest of safety."

The city of Tuscaloosa informed residents that the concert series will return for 2026.
