Must Attend: Literacy Council of West Alabama’s Free Bookstock Event
Join the Literacy Council of West Alabama for a day of literary adventure as they proudly present their annual BOOKSTOCK! Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will be held at the New Heights Community Resource Center at 3834 21st Street in Tuscaloosa.
BOOKSTOCK is a key initiative by the Literacy Council of West Alabama aimed at boosting literacy awareness and encouraging literacy improvement across West Alabama.
What to Expect at BOOKSTOCK
Get ready for an electrifying BOOKSTOCK experience, where you can add a splash of color to their Little Library boxes through painting activities. Also, children will be able to immerse themselves in captivating reading and writing exercises alongside our guest authors.
There will be local and regional authors, art projects, activities for children, a 360-booth setup, free lunch, free books, and so much more!
This is a free event that is open to the public.
