This is how it all begins... Now we head to Northport, Alabama.

A family in Northport, Alabama, that enjoys this time of year, but isn't obsessed with Halloween like some folks are in West Alabama.

I'm not going to get into any exact addresses or details, but it is within the city limits of Northport.

As they got ready to go out for the night several years ago, the dad took some photos of the family as they were finally all together at one time.

Most importantly, the person taking the picture was outside the home with the rest of the family.

Absolutely nobody was left inside the house.

That's why the photos were taken, as a way to send them to family members to show them how everyone was doing these days.

Nobody noticed anything initially. In fact, the family has looked at the photo repeatedly for more than twenty years.

It was not until a couple of family members saw the photos just a couple of months ago and pointed out something very, very creepy.

I'm gonna show you the photo and let you decide.

Look at the first picture and you will see the sons, all three of them, and their mom with dad taking the photo.

We spent lots of time with the photo over the years and never noticed it until one time something caught my eye.

Look closer in between the first two people going from left to right.

I have enlarged it for you to get a better look at what I'm trying to point out in the photo.

OK, who is the dude in the doorway looking out at the family?

This is my family!

None of us noticed the man behind us when we first looked at this picture years ago.

I recently noticed it, and after talking with everyone in my family, NONE of us have ever seen that man before or since the photo was taken.

I believe we got a pretty clear shot of a "ghost/spirit" in Northport, Alabama.

I'd really freak out if one of you recognized the man in the photo and knew who he is/was.

*FUN FACT* I took the picture to an expert with photos/photography, and he told me that he does not believe the photo has been edited or tampered with in his professional opinion.
