This show seems even older than its 50th season. I feel like it's been around for most of my adult life, and then some.

It predates many things we tend to think happened years and years ago, such as September 11.

With their big 50th season coming up, the folks at CBS and the Survivor television program have something up their sleeve.

The actual season is slated to debut later this month during the February ratings sweeps on television.

As it turns out, the makers of the show have hidden what’s known as an immunity idol somewhere in the state of Alabama.

The individual who locates this immunity idol will win a pretty cool prize: all expenses paid to Los Angeles to be present for the Survivor finale.

The finale should take place in May.

Alabama isn’t the only state with a hidden immunity idol; as it turns out, they have hidden one in all 50 states to honor their 50th Survivor.

Some states already have a winner, but there is no winner in our home state of Alabama.

Show creator Mark Burnett hit one out of the park when he created "Survivor" years ago.

Mark is married to former "Touched By An Angel" star Roma Downey.
