
Tuscaloosa Hosts Annual Foreclosure & Surplus Property Sale
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, November 12, that’s when the City of Tuscaloosa will hold its annual foreclosure and surplus property sale. The event is set to begin at 11 a.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 2201 University Blvd. Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
At the upcoming foreclosure and surplus property sale, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of City-owned properties. Each parcel will be awarded to the highest bidder, who will receive either a foreclosure deed or a quit-claim deed, granting them ownership of the purchased real estate.
“In addition to the property purchase price, potential buyers should be aware that an additional advertisement fee of $144.66 will be added to the total cost for each foreclosure property,” said the press release. “It is important for all participants to factor this fee into their bidding decisions.”
