
Major Transportation Summit Coming to Tuscaloosa in November
The West Alabama Chamber is preparing for a major summit they host annually centered around a key aspect of the city. In November, leaders all across the state will gather to discuss ways to improve an area of the city of Tuscaloosa.

In a press release Monday, The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama announced they will host the 2025 Transportation Summit. The summit is presented by Thompson Engineering and will take place at the Tuscaloosa River Market Tuesday, Nov. 4.
According to the press release, the event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature presentations from key organizations in the state and the Tuscaloosa areas including the Alabama Department of Transportation, the City of Northport, the City of Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, and the Tuscaloosa County Road Improvement Commission.
The event will not only feature those key organizations, but also community leaders, as well as local, state, and federal officials. The goal of the summit is to address key transportation issues affecting the region.
