Tuscaloosa Walk For Suicide Prevention Nears

In the last few years, unfortunately, number of suicide victims has been on the rise.
The Tuscaloosa "Out Of The Darkness" walk is taking place this Sunday, September 24 at the Student Center Plaza at 6 p.m. The registration period will begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
Michelle Moss, walk chair and suicide prevention coordinator at UA, told the Thread that walks will take place in multiple cities around the nation.
Moss said the main goals are to raise awareness and the necessary funding for suicide prevention in our region and across the country.
