
Tuscaloosa Radio Stations Announce Record Number of Donations
Townsquare Media, WTSK The Truth/ Praise 93.3, 92.9 WTUG, and WALJ 105.1 The Block recently sponsored their Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. The radio stations were very honored to have their listeners help by donating non-perishable food items.

For several years now, this food drive has been consistently spearheaded by Brother J, from WTSK- The Truth. Thanks to the incredible support from dedicated listeners, a remarkable total of 1,503 pounds of food items were collected and officially handed over to the West Alabama Food Bank on November 21, 2023.
A Grand Total of 1,503 Pounds Worth of Food Items Were Gathered
The West Alabama Food Bank is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing hunger and food insecurity in nine counties of West Alabama, namely Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa.
“Brother J answered the call to action to help with the war on food insecurity and hunger by collecting more than 1500 pounds of food,” said Sheldrick McNeal Sr., Chief Operating Officer.

Thanks to the unwavering support of dedicated listeners, the Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive was a resounding success. “I extend my heartfelt appreciation for your active involvement in this endeavor,” said Brother J. “These Heritage radio stations have played a vital role in offering continuous assistance throughout the years.”

“The West Alabama Food Bank deeply appreciates the efforts of Brother J and his countless listeners,” said McNeal.
