
Celebrate Tuscaloosa’s Vibrant Cultural Heritage at WAMA Fest
This year, the Tuscaloosa Heritage Festival celebrates 250 years of America’s history.
The “West Alabama Multicultural Alliance, Inc. (WAMA) has hosted the Tuscaloosa Heritage Festival for the past eight years, and the festival has continued to grow and evolve by highlighting different aspects of Tuscaloosa’s rich ethnic heritage,” said the press release.

Set for an afternoon of culture and community, the 9th Annual Tuscaloosa Heritage Festival - West Alabama Multicultural Alliance, Inc. (WAMA) Fest, will take place on Sunday, April 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa River Market, 1900 Jack Warner Parkway, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.

Vibrant Return
The student art competition has returned to this year’s festival lineup, showcasing the creative spirit at the heart of the event. “Celebrating the arts has always been an important part of this event,” said the press release. “The winning artwork will receive a $100 prize.”
